The Campingaz Camping 206 S is the classic, compact single-burner camping stove that runs on a Campingaz C 206 GLS pierceable butane cartridge, which fits inside the stove's blue base so the whole unit stands steady on the ground. It is a simple, reliable stove for camping, fishing trips, the bakkie or a backup at home during load-shedding. The 1250 W burner boils a litre of water in about 5 min 30 s and the flame is adjustable. Fold-out pan supports hold a pot or kettle, and fold in again for packing. Gas use is about 90 g per hour, giving around 2 hours of cooking per cartridge. The stove weighs about 280 g and measures roughly 13.5 x 13.5 x 19 cm. Light it with a match or lighter. Gas cartridge sold separately, and a pierced cartridge must stay on the stove until it is empty.
