The Cobra AM255 twin pack is a pair of compact, light licence-free PMR two-way radios for hiking, camping, game drives, events, shopping centres and keeping a family or small team in touch. Cobra quotes a range of up to 5 km; real range depends on terrain, buildings and weather. Each radio has 16 channels and 121 privacy codes, a Roger Beep tone that confirms the end of each transmission, a call alert, and a battery/power saver mode that kicks in when the channel is quiet. VOX allows hands-free talking. The pack comes with two radios, belt clips, rechargeable batteries and a micro-USB charging cable.
