The Cobra AM655 twin pack is a pair of rugged, weather-resistant licence-free PMR two-way radios for recreational or business use, from hiking, fishing and hunting trips to farms, building sites and events. Cobra quotes up to 8 km range in open terrain; buildings, hills and trees reduce it. It is a step up from the entry-level AM255, adding weather resistance and channel scan. Each radio has 16 channels and 121 privacy codes, VOX for hands-free talking, channel scan and selectable call tones, and the housing is rated IPX2 water resistant against light rain. The pack comes with two radios, belt clips, rechargeable batteries and a micro-USB charging cable.
