A compact rifle cleaning kit for AK-pattern rifles and other .30 calibre firearms, with a 600 mm one-piece cleaning rod. A one-piece rod has no joints, so it is stiffer and will not snag or scratch the bore the way a jointed rod can, and the shorter 600 mm length suits carbines and short-barrelled rifles and fits in a range bag. Use it after shooting to push patches and brushes through the barrel and remove powder fouling, copper and dirt, which helps keep the rifle accurate and protects the bore from corrosion. Check that the brush and jag match .30 before use, and always clean an unloaded firearm. The exact contents of the kit are not listed by the supplier, so check the pack.
