The Honey Badger Claw is a hawkbill (karambit-style) folding knife from South African brand Honey Badger Knives. The spine and edge curve down together to a downward point, so the blade cuts well when pulled towards you: cutting rope, carpet and linoleum, pruning plants, and as a rescue knife. This medium tan version has a plain 92 mm 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, is 178 mm open and 104 mm closed, and weighs 91 g. The handle is FRN (fibre-reinforced nylon) with Honey Badger's honeycomb texture, which gives a multi-directional grip that stays secure even when wet, while keeping the knife light and slim in the pocket. The blade pivots on two opposing roller bearings holding 18 ball bearings in total, for a very smooth opening and closing action, and the pocket clip can be swapped for left- or right-hand carry.
