The Honey Badger Claw is a hawkbill (karambit-style) folding knife from South African brand Honey Badger Knives. The spine and edge curve down together to a downward point, so the blade cuts well when pulled towards you: cutting rope, carpet and linoleum, pruning plants, and as a rescue knife. This small orange version has a plain 70 mm 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, is 158 mm open and 92 mm closed, and weighs 82 g. The handle is FRN (fibre-reinforced nylon) with Honey Badger's honeycomb texture, which gives a multi-directional grip that stays secure even when wet, while keeping the knife light and slim in the pocket. The blade pivots on two opposing roller bearings holding 18 ball bearings in total, for a very smooth opening and closing action, and the pocket clip can be swapped for left- or right-hand carry.
