A medium folding pocket knife from Honey Badger Knives, the Johannesburg-based knife brand. The Clip Point has a hollow-ground blade with a clipped tip for precise control and good piercing, and an extended belly that gives plenty of slicing edge, so it suits hunters, outdoor use and everyday carry. The 3.4mm blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which takes a keen edge, is easy to resharpen and resists rust. It opens with a flipper tab on a ball-bearing pivot for a smooth, quick action. This limited-run version has desert-coloured G10 handle scales instead of the standard nylon, a tough glass-fibre laminate with a fine grip texture. The pocket clip can be swapped for left- or right-hand carry. The medium size has a 81mm blade, is 104mm long closed and 185mm open, and weighs 88g. Honey Badger gives a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
