The Honey Badger Tanto 50/50 is a medium/large folding knife with a black FRN handle and a tanto blade in premium 14C28N stainless steel, a steel known for good edge retention, corrosion resistance and toughness. Inspired by the short armour-piercing swords of feudal Japan, the tanto blade swaps a curved belly for angular edge transitions, giving a strong, prominent point that is good for piercing tough materials, while the plain edge makes clean, controlled cuts for everyday tasks. The 50/50 edge combines a plain section for clean slicing with a partially serrated section near the handle for extra cutting power through rope, webbing and other tough, fibrous materials. The fibre reinforced nylon handle has Honey Badger's raised honeycomb texture for a confident grip in wet or gloved hands, and the Cross-Bolt lock gives smooth ambidextrous operation and dependable lock-up. A pocket clip is fitted. Honey Badger is a South African knife brand.
