The Honey Badger Cross-Bolt Tanto is a folding knife with a plain-edge tanto blade in 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, here in the medium/large size with a orange FRN (fibre reinforced nylon) handle. Inspired by the short armour-piercing swords of feudal Japan, the tanto blade swaps a curved belly for angular edge transitions, giving a strong, prominent point that is good for piercing tough materials, while the plain edge makes clean, controlled cuts for everyday tasks. The durable FRN handle has Honey Badger's raised honeycomb texture for a secure grip, even when wet or wearing gloves. The Cross-Bolt locking mechanism gives dependable lock-up and can be operated from either side, so the knife suits left- and right-handed users, and a pocket clip is fitted. Honey Badger is a South African knife brand.
