The Honey Badger Flipper medium is a folding pocket knife from the South African Honey Badger Knives range. Its drop-point blade has a convex spine that curves down to the tip, giving an easily controlled point and a generous belly for slicing. It is a good general-purpose shape and a favourite with hunters, and it is Honey Badger's best-selling design. The 81 mm blade is made from 14C28N stainless steel. It sits in a blue FRN (fibre reinforced nylon) handle with a honeycomb texture that grips well, even when wet. A pivot with two roller bearings (18 ball bearings in total) gives a smooth action, and it opens with the flipper tab or thumb hole. It is slim and light, with a reversible pocket clip. Closed it measures 104 mm and it weighs about 82 g. Honey Badger covers its knives with a 10-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
