The Honey Badger Opener is a folding pocket knife from the South African brand Honey Badger Knives. It has the same drop-point cutting edge as the Honey Badger Flipper, with a bottle-cap opener added to the blade spine, so it handles everyday cutting jobs and opens a cold drink at the braai. This medium version in green has an 81 mm 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade, is 185 mm long when open, 104 mm closed and weighs 82 g. The handle is FRN (fibre-reinforced nylon) with Honey Badger's honeycomb texture, which gives a multi-directional grip that stays secure even when wet, while keeping the knife light and slim in the pocket. The blade pivots on two opposing roller bearings holding 18 ball bearings in total, for a very smooth opening and closing action, and the pocket clip can be swapped for left- or right-hand carry.
