The Honey Badger Tanto Medium is a mid-size folding knife with a tanto blade in Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel and a tan FRN (fibre reinforced nylon) handle. Inspired by the Japanese tanto, the blade replaces a curved belly with an angular edge transition, giving a strong, reinforced point that handles piercing and tough cuts well while still doing everyday tasks. The blade runs on two opposing roller bearings with 18 ball bearings for a very smooth action and opens one-handed with the flipper tab. The honeycomb-textured handle is slip resistant even when wet, the knife is light and slim with deep pocket carry, and the clip can be set for left- or right-hand use. Blade length is 81 mm, overall length 185 mm, blade thickness 3.0 mm and weight 85 g. Honey Badger states a 10-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
