The Honey Badger Tanto medium is a folding pocket knife from the South African Honey Badger Knives range. The tanto blade swaps a curved belly for an angular edge transition, giving a strong, robust point that copes well with piercing tough material while still handling day-to-day cutting tasks. The 81 mm blade is made from D2 tool steel, a high-carbon steel known for good edge retention. It sits in a black FRN (fibre reinforced nylon) handle with a honeycomb texture that grips well, even when wet. A pivot with two roller bearings (18 ball bearings in total) gives a smooth action, and it opens with the flipper tab or thumb hole. It is slim and light, with a reversible pocket clip. Closed it measures 104 mm and it weighs about 85 g. Honey Badger covers its knives with a 10-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
