A small folding pocket knife from Honey Badger Knives, the Johannesburg-based knife brand. The Wharncleaver blade combines a straighter cutting edge with a broad, flat-ground blade. It is ideal for controlled slicing and utility cuts and reduces the chance of an accidental puncture with the tip. The 3.0mm blade is 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which takes a keen edge, is easy to resharpen and resists rust. The blade has a black PVD coating, a hard finish that resists scratches, wear and corrosion. It opens with a flipper tab on a ball-bearing pivot for a smooth, quick action. This Custom Pink Edition has hand-dyed pink fibre-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales and a matching pink back spacer, so the shade can vary slightly from knife to knife. The honeycomb pattern grips in any direction, even when wet. The pocket clip can be swapped for left- or right-hand carry.
