The iProtec RM230LSG combines a 230-lumen white weapon light with a green laser sight in one rail-mounted unit for handguns and long guns. It is built from anodised aircraft-grade aluminium, is water and impact resistant, and has anti-recoil locking. The adjustable hinge mount fits rail-equipped pistols and long guns without tools (it does not fit subcompact pistols), and on/off buttons on both sides let you work it with either hand. It runs on one CR123A battery, which is included. The white light gives 230 lumens on high (about 2 hours, 110 m beam), 46 lumens on low (about 4.25 hours, 45 m) and a 230-lumen strobe. The green laser (532 nm, under 5 mW) is easier for the eye to pick up than red in daylight and is rated for about 6 hours of use, with a visible range of up to about 457 m in the dark. It suits home defence, security and night hunting where a quick aiming reference and good illumination are both needed. Listed as end of line by the distributor.
