The Ledlenser P7 is one of Ledlenser's best known torches: it fits in the palm of your hand yet throws a strong beam a long way. The Advanced Focus System lets you change from a wide flood to light up a room to a focused spot that reaches up to 400 m. Three brightness levels give up to 650 lumens, operated with an end cap switch. It runs on four AAA alkaline batteries, which are included, and can also use AAA NiMH rechargeables; runtime is about 1 hour on power and up to 30 hours on low. That makes it a good torch to keep in a drawer or car for load shedding and power failures, or for camping. The aluminium housing, made with 75 % recycled aluminium, is 131 mm long with a 37 mm head and weighs about 175 g. It is rated IP54. An adjustable lanyard is included, and Ledlenser offers a 7-year warranty on registration.
