The Maglite Flashlight Lantern turns a D-cell Maglite flashlight into a lantern. It is a translucent diffuser shade with a rubberised base: remove the flashlight's head (candle mode), push the lantern over the end of the torch and it spreads the light evenly around a room, tent or camp table instead of throwing a beam. It fits securely onto any D-cell Maglite, so the torch can stand upright on its tail, and the clip on the underside of the base lets you hang it upside down from a tent loop or hook. A simple way to get more use out of a full-size Maglite you already own during load shedding, camping trips or power failures. The flashlight itself is not included.
