The Maglite ML300L 2D is the classic full-size Maglite with an LED engine, powered by two standard D-cell alkaline batteries. This is the third-generation version, which the supplier rates at 487 lumens; Maglite's current listing rates the ML300L 2D at up to 524 lumens with a 366 m beam and 33,573 candela peak beam intensity. Maglite's Quick Focus lets you go from a tight spot to a wide flood with less than a quarter turn of the head, and the QuickClik electronic switch offers four selectable function sets: General, Outdoor, Law Enforcement and Tactical, with High, Low and Eco modes. Runtimes quoted by Maglite are about 6.5 hours on High, 20 hours on Low and up to 69 hours on Eco. The rugged aluminium body has a knurled grip, is IPX4 water resistant and 1 m drop resistant.
