The Nextorch myStar R is a focusing headlamp with dual power options: it runs on its 3000mAh USB-rechargeable lithium polymer battery pack, or on three AA batteries when you cannot charge. Nextorch's patented Fresnel lens focusing is controlled by a 360-degree rotating ring that takes the beam from a 66-degree wide flood to a focused beam reaching about 220 metres. The rear battery container balances the weight on the Y-type headband, the head can be angled for multi-angle lighting, and it is operated with one hand. It is IPX4 water resistant, making it suitable for hiking, fishing, camping and work in the dark.
