The Nextorch oStar is a rugged headlamp that can be worn on the elastic head strap or clipped to a helmet. It gives up to 500 lumens with a beam distance of 131 m, which is plenty for camping, hunting, farm work, repairs and night walks, and it has high, medium and low settings plus an SOS mode. It runs on a single rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery, with up to 60 hours on the lowest setting. The housing is rated IPX4 against rain and splashes and is impact tested to 2 m. The light unit weighs about 87 g without the battery and measures 78 x 65 x 46 mm. The mounting bracket allows the light to be moved between the head strap and different helmet types.
