The Nextorch oStar is a modular light that works both as a helmet light and as a headlamp. It mounts to the brim of most helmets without extra clips, comes with a standard headband for use as a headlamp, and a built-in magnet lets you stick it to steel. The light gives up to 500 lumens and a throw of about 131 metres, with high, medium and low settings and an SOS mode, and the head tilts from 0 to 120 degrees. It runs on one 18650 rechargeable battery for up to 60 hours on low. The housing is IPX4 water resistant and impact resistant to 2 metres, measures 78 x 65 x 46 mm and weighs 87 g without the battery. It suits rescue workers, miners, cavers and anyone who works in a hard hat.
