The Nextorch RM87 is a magnetic mount that holds a flashlight against any steel surface, such as a vehicle body, bakkie canopy, toolbox, trailer or workshop bench, so you can light up your work with both hands free. Nextorch states that it fits flashlight bodies from 23 to 26.5 mm in diameter, including its T5, T7, TA01, TA40, TA5 and P60 models; the supplier lists it as fitting lights from 20 to 28 mm. The clamp is tightened with a thumb screw, and the strong magnets keep their hold at raised temperatures. The body is made of aerospace aluminium alloy with a hard-anodised finish for durability outdoors. Nextorch notes that its T5G V2.0 hunting light is not compatible because of its magnetic switch.
