The Nite Ize SlideLock is a utility carabiner with a slide-to-lock gate: push and slide to lock the stainless steel gate so it cannot open by accident, and slide back to unlock. Instead of a bulky round tube, the body has a flat, rectangular cross-section that is low profile and slim, so it feeds through small openings and lies flat in a pocket. This is the #6, the large size in the stainless steel SlideLock range, finished in black, for carrying keys, water bottles, gloves, tools or gear on a belt loop, backpack or bag. Like all SlideLock carabiners it is an accessory clip and is not for climbing. Nite Ize no longer lists the #6 size, so its exact dimensions and weight rating are not given here.
