Nite Ize Steelie is a magnetic phone mounting system: a small magnetic socket on the back of the phone or case snaps onto a steel ball on the mount, and the ball lets you tilt and turn the phone to any viewing angle. The Original Vent Kit holds your phone securely at eye level on any car air vent for navigation and hands-free calls. It has two parts: a Steelie Vent Mount with a cast aluminium body, cam locking lever and stainless steel ball that clips onto nearly any vehicle vent without tools, and a Steelie Magnetic Phone Socket with a strong neodymium magnet and a silicone centre for a firm grip and smooth glide. The socket sticks to the phone or a rigid case with 3M VHB foam adhesive. Because the vent mount simply clips on and off, it can be moved between vehicles, including rental cars. Nite Ize states the magnet is safe for phones and tablets. In the box: vent mount, magnetic phone socket and one spare 3M VHB adhesive pad.
