A pointed brass jag for .22 barrels, supplied with 25 cleaning patches. The spear-shaped tip pierces the centre of a patch, which then wraps around the jag and is pressed firmly against the bore as it is pushed through on a cleaning rod. Brass is softer than barrel steel, so it will not scratch the bore. Use solvent-wet patches first to lift powder fouling, then dry patches until they come out clean, and finish with a lightly oiled patch to protect against rust.
