A pointed jag sized for 6.5 barrels. The spear-shaped tip is pushed into the centre of a cleaning patch, which then wraps around the jag and is pressed firmly against the bore as it travels through the barrel, so each pass lifts powder fouling, solvent and dirt. Run solvent-wet patches first, then dry patches until they come out clean, and finish with a lightly oiled patch to protect the bore. Screw the jag onto a cleaning rod with a matching thread before use.
