A RAM bore guide with adapters, used when cleaning a rifle barrel from the chamber end. The bore guide fits into the action in place of the bolt and centres the cleaning rod in the chamber, so the rod does not rub against the throat or the chamber walls, and it stops solvent from running back into the action and trigger. The supplied adapters let the guide fit different chamber or action sizes. A bore guide helps protect the accuracy of a rifle over years of cleaning and makes it easier to push patches and brushes straight through the bore. The calibres and actions the adapters suit are not listed by the supplier, so check the pack before buying.
