A rifle cleaning kit sized for .22 calibre firearms, built around a 3-piece cleaning rod. A three-piece rod screws together for use and breaks down into short sections, so the kit packs away neatly in a range bag or safe. Use it after shooting to push patches and brushes through the barrel and remove powder fouling, copper and dirt, which helps keep a rifle accurate and protects the bore from corrosion. Make sure the brush and jag sizes match .22 before use, and always clean from the chamber end where the action allows. The exact contents of the kit (brushes, jags, patches or solvent) are not listed by the supplier, so check the pack.
