The Smaak Universal Vent Mount (sold as the U-Hold) clips onto your car's air vent and holds a smartphone in a spring-loaded cradle. The vent clamp lets you fit and remove it with one click, and a 17 mm ball joint lets the cradle rotate 360 degrees so the phone can sit upright or sideways for navigation. The arms open from about 50 mm to 74 mm, which takes most phones between roughly 2.3 and 3.5 inches wide. Keeping the phone at vent height puts the screen in view without blocking the windscreen and leaves no adhesive on the dashboard. Black finish.
