This Spyderco Delica 4 is upgraded with CPM SPY27, a Spyderco-exclusive powder stainless steel developed with Crucible Industries. It takes the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 and adds niobium, nitrogen and more carbon, molybdenum and vanadium, for an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The 74 mm satin, full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade opens one-handed with the Trademark Round Hole. The lightweight fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle in cobalt blue, the signature colour of the SPY27 family, holds skeletonised liners, a back lock and a four-position clip. Weighs just 68 g. Made in Japan. A compact knife that is easy to carry every day.
