This limited Sprint Run version of the Spyderco MicroJimbo has a blade of CPM 15V, a tool steel with almost 15 percent vanadium and the highest wear resistance of any cold-work tool steel, giving exceptional cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco's CPM 15V knives receive a special heat treatment developed by custom knifemaker Shawn Houston, whose Triple B logo is laser engraved on the reverse of the blade. The 62 mm full-flat-ground blade locks open with a high-strength Compression Lock, and the handle carries brown peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip allows left- or right-side tip-up carry. At 82 g and 97 mm closed it is a compact but very capable cutter for collectors and serious users. Note that CPM 15V is not stainless and should be kept dry and lightly oiled. Made in the USA.
