The Spyderco Para Military 2 Lightweight takes one of the most carried folding knife designs in the world and trims its weight by more than 25 percent. Instead of G-10 it uses injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales with Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture for a non-slip grip, and a streamlined Compression Lock that holds the blade securely open. The 88 mm full-flat-ground blade is CTS BD1N, a nitrogen-enriched stainless steel that balances edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and easy sharpening. A fully accessible Trademark Round Hole allows ambidextrous one-handed opening, and the textured finger choil and thumb ramp give fine control for detailed cutting. This version has a tumble-finished plain-edge blade and bright handle hardware. A deep-pocket wire clip can be swapped for left- or right-side tip-up carry, and there is a large lanyard hole. At 78 g it disappears in a pocket. Made in the USA.
