The 88 mm full-flat-ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade carries a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, and the handle hardware is black-coated to match, making it a good choice where light discipline matters or for anyone who prefers a stealthy look. The handle uses injection-moulded fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales with Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture, which cut the weight by more than 25 percent compared to the G-10 Para Military 2, down to 78 g. A streamlined Compression Lock keeps the blade locked open, the Trademark Round Hole gives quick ambidextrous one-handed opening, and a textured finger choil and thumb ramp help with precise cuts. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip allows left- or right-side tip-up carry, and a generous lanyard hole takes a fob or safety line. Made in the USA.
