Spyderco PITS 2 Slipjoint Knife – Titanium, M390 (C269TIP)

The Spyderco PITS 2 is a non-locking (slipjoint) folding knife designed by British knifemaker Mike Read, ideal where a locking knife is not wanted. It uses a unique mechanism with two spring arms machined into the handle scales: as the blade opens, the arms flex to press the blade's notched joint against the stop pin, holding it open under normal use. The handle scales are machined from solid 6Al-4V titanium with a matt finish, paired with a 69 mm full-flat-ground blade in Böhler M390, a top-grade powder stainless steel with outstanding edge retention. The symmetrical design, Trademark Round Hole and reversible tip-up clip make it fully ambidextrous. Made in Italy. A slipjoint does not lock, so keep fingers clear of the edge.
