The Sage 6 is part of Spyderco's Sage series, a family of knives that each showcase a different folding-knife lock. This one features the Button-Release Compression Lock pioneered by custom knifemaker Kevin Smock: a variation of Spyderco's strong Compression Lock with a convenient release button on the front scale, which makes closing the knife easy and very smooth. The 76 mm satin-finished blade is full-flat ground from CPM S30V, a premium powder-metallurgy stainless steel known for excellent edge retention. The open-backed handle has nested, skeletonised stainless steel liners and peel-ply-textured carbon fibre/G-10 laminate scales. A deep-pocket wire clip is reversible for left- or right-side tip-up carry. At 88 g and 106 mm closed it is a refined, lightweight gentleman's folder. Made in Taiwan.
