A compact camping set from Ultra-Edge: a 352 mm hatchet and a separate fixed-blade pruning saw that both store in one moulded sheath, with a fire-starter rod clipped to the sheath. The hatchet has a black steel head and a high-visibility green handle, easy to spot when it is put down in long grass. Use it for splitting kindling, trimming branches and knocking in tent pegs with the back of the head. The saw, also with a green handle, cuts green and dry branches that are too thick to chop cleanly. The fire starter is struck with the back of a blade to throw sparks onto dry tinder. Everything packs together, so the set is ready for the bakkie, the camp box or a hunting trip.
