The Ultratec Back-Up is a rechargeable emergency and camping lantern that doubles as a power bank. Its 24 LEDs give up to 800 lumens, enough to light a room during load shedding or a whole campsite, and the LEDs are rated for more than 10,000 hours. Ultratec quotes up to 50 hours of runtime on the lower settings. The built-in battery charges from the mains, and the power bank function lets you charge a cellphone from the lantern when the power is off. The tall, flat-sided body stands securely on a table or shelf and has a carry handle on top. Ultratec has made several versions of this lantern over the years (with different battery types), so the exact battery capacity of this version is not confirmed.
