A large lever-action biltong cutter from Ultratec with a solid bamboo base and a stainless steel blade that shears against a machined stainless steel guide. The shearing action gives clean, even slices through tough dried meat, so slabs of biltong or droëwors are cut quickly at the table or on the counter. Bamboo is hard-wearing and an attractive natural material; the base has non-slip pads to stop it moving while you cut. The large cutting area takes bigger pieces of biltong. Besides meat it slices firm vegetables, herbs and fruit. The base measures about 330 x 220 x 70 mm. Wipe the blade clean and keep the bamboo dry after use.
