The Ultratec Biltong-Pro is a manual lever slicer made for cutting biltong into neat, even slices. Its curved (radiused) stainless steel blade runs on a precision guide with a rolling, shearing action, so even hard, dry biltong cuts with little effort. The radiused wooden base steers the meat to the middle of the cutter for steady, consistent slices. A large stainless steel tray catches the slices and attaches magnetically under the base for storage, then pulls out for serving. Non-slip pads keep the cutter from sliding on the counter, and the blade can be removed for cleaning; a small spanner is included for adjustment. It also slices dry wors, salami, chillies and firm vegetables.
