The Ultratec Hurricane is a quiet rechargeable oscillating stand fan with five speed levels and a built-in LED light for emergencies, ideal for load shedding. It runs from the mains (AC) or from its built-in 6 V 4.5 Ah lead-acid battery, which has charge protection. On battery it runs about 3 hours on high, 8 hours on medium and 12 hours on low, and needs 12 to 15 hours to charge fully. The LED light has dim and bright settings, and two 6 V output ports can power optional 6 V LED bulbs (such as Ultratec's 2-bulb kit) to light a room. The adjustable pole stands on a weighted base, with controls on the column. In the box: the Hurricane AC/DC 6 V fan.
