The Ultratec SLS is a silicone bottle that is also a solar LED lantern. The lid holds a solar panel and LED light, and the tough silicone and ABS body is rated IP66 waterproof, so it can double as a dry storage container for a phone, lighter, matches, first-aid kit or survival gear. It charges by solar or micro-USB (about 5 hours from an adapter) and runs on a built-in 1,000 mAh 3.7 V lithium polymer battery. Modes are Turbo (100 lumens, about 5 hours), High (50 lumens, about 12 hours) and flashing. A hanging handle makes it easy to hang in a tent or clip to a pack. It measures about 90 x 90 x 180 mm and weighs about 200 g. Good for camping, hiking, boating and emergency kits.
