The Ultratec Solar Mosquito Killer is a garden and patio lantern that charges in the sun and kills mosquitoes and other flying insects with four UV LEDs (360 to 400 nm) and an electric grid, with no chemicals. The zapper runs for about 16 hours on a full charge. It also works as a lantern, giving about 35 lumens at full brightness (about 3 hours), 16 lumens at 50% (about 6 hours) and 7 lumens at 20% (about 14 hours). On cloudy days it can be charged with the USB cable supplied. Hang it from its wire handle or stand it on a table on the stoep, by the pool or at a campsite. In the box: the mosquito lantern and a USB charging cable.
